GPS & checkpoints
GPS tracks and checkpoints make maintenance tours transparent: Where was the team, which points were visited, when? In the report you see the route as if you were there – clear for audits and clients.

For RSA maintenance, it is often not only the protocol that counts, but proof that locations and sections were actually visited. RSA21 connects mobile capture with a clear report view – without extra tools or manual map sketches.
Set checkpoints on the project
In the office you place markers on the project map – with radius and optional required flag.
Start the task – tracking begins
In the app the driver taps “Start task”. From then on location and checkpoint approaches are recorded.
Review and export in the report
Route, start/end and visited points appear in the report detail – ready for approval, PDF and audit.
What exactly is captured for a GPS route?
After starting the task in the mobile app, the location track is recorded – including start and end points. Checkpoints stored on the project are automatically marked as visited when approaching within the radius and later appear in the report and PDF.
When does GPS recording start?
Not already at shift start. Protocol, track and checkpoints only start when the driver taps “Start task” in the task. That keeps it clear which work segment is documented.
How do I create checkpoints?
In the web under edit project: set the location, then place checkpoints on the map (label, radius, optional required). The app uses exactly these points on the next maintenance tour.
Where do I see the route and checkpoints after the tour?
In the report detail (web) and in the PDF: interactive or static map with track, start/end and visited checkpoints – plus a table with status and timestamps. Ideal evidence for clients and inspectors.
